Dreaming in Power Pop

Banks & Guy is the combination of guitarists John Banks of Savannah, Georgia and Bobby Guy of Nashville, Tennessee.  "Dreaming in Power Pop" is their inaugural effort at creating instrumental pop music in an era ruled almost entirely by vocal pop (not that there's anything wrong with that).  They refer to the music on this record as GIN-POP ("guitar instrumental power pop").

"Dreaming in Power Pop" was recorded at Watershed Studios in Nashville, Tennessee in January 2019, and the first three singles from the record -- Policeman's Ball, Falkland Gray, and Ambience -- were released together in early July  2019 in advance of the holiday weekend.  The remaining songs were released over the remainder of 2019 and early 2020 via social media announcement (instagram: @bobbyguy91), and are available through all major music streaming services.
